John 11:50-52

⁵⁰ “Nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one Man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish.”

⁵¹ He spoke this, not of himself, but being High Priest that same year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation;

⁵² and not only for the nation, but that He would gather together the children of God who were scattered.
